I/ We, the Parent/s/ Guardian/s hereby pledge to pay my/ our financial obligations to New Horizon Online Academy on or before the 3rd of every month. I/ We understand that it may be necessary to suspend access to the academic platform of our child/ren if proper arrangements are not made on a past-due account. If no arrangements are made or, in the event that we do not meet our commitment, we understand that New Horizon Online Academy has the full right to dismiss the student within seven days after written notice by New Horizon Online Academy to the Parent/s/ Guardian/s of their intention to do so because of our failure as Parent/s/ Guardian/s to comply with our financial obligations and/ or arrangements.
I/ We, the Parent/s/ Guardian/s hereby agree that my/ our account may be referred to a collection agency if I/ we fail to pay any debts including the 3 months notice fee, owed to New Horizon Online Academy by the posted due date. I/ We will be liable for all collection costs. These costs include but are not limited to a collection agency, attorney, and court fees.
I/ We, the Parent/s/ Guardian/s will allow New Horizon Online Academy and its agents to contact me regarding my/ our account to my/ our cellular phone, wireless device, email, or other form of contact New Horizon Online Academy has on file. I/ We may be called using automated telephone systems which may use artificial or pre-recorded voice text messages.
I/ We, the Parent/s/ Guardian/s agree that we will provide New Horizon Online Academy with 1 (one) term's (3 months) written/ emailed notice if our child/ren is/ are to leave New Horizon Online Academy, for whatsoever reason. We agree that I/ we the Parent/s / Guardian/s will remain liable for fees due for this period.
I/ We as Parent/s/ Guardian/s further agree to uphold and support the high academic standard of New Horizon Online Academy by providing a place at home for our child/ren to study and to give our child/ren encouragement in the completion of any academic work, assignments or competing in sports and any other extracurricular New Horizon Online Academy activities.
I/ We the Parent/s/ Guardian/s understand that New Horizon Online Academy reserves the right to dismiss any student who fails to comply with the established regulations and disciplinary action as stated in the academic platform (SwitchedOn) disciplinary policy.
